Government – The White House, The Obama Administration, & USDA
- It is no mistake that the most prestigious Office in the Land, The White House, has chosen Hands In Motion for their interpreting needs. Prestige is the legacy our interpreters leave behind.
Platform/Conference – “Men Can Stop Rape Conference,” Washington, DC, April 2009
- Hands In Motion has the resources and stamina to provide interpreting teams for a multi-day conference or function with a variety of speaking engagements needing equal access for the Deaf and Hard-Of-Hearing community.
Performing/Fine Arts - The Mammoth Theatre, Washington DC
- New and exciting theatre companies as the one just mentioned are coming to Hands In Motion for interpreters with a passion and strong desire to make equal access for cultural events a reality.
Legal – Social Security Administration Claims & Appeals, DC District Courts (Jury Selection)
- Legal assignments can be the most challenging, as an interpreter is obligated to provide the most refined interpretation of a spoken language to a Deaf person. It can dangerous to misinterpret information in a court setting, but our interpreters are repeatedly chosen by clients for their accurate transliteration and interpretation.
