Interpreters holding national and state certifications for their profession are the hallmark of an exemplary interpreting agency.

Our interpreters hold certifications from some of the following granting organizations:

• Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (www.rid.org)
• National Association of the Deaf (www.nad.org)
• State of Texas, Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI, www.dars.st.tx.us)

Hands In Motion interpreters  also hold certifications to work in Legal and Medical settings.

A large of majority of Hands In Motion interpreters hold either an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree from any number of colleges and universities throughout the country for their profession.

Certified and Pre-Certified interpreters are required to keep learning once they have finished their studies or passed certifications. They attend a wide range of continuing education courses, which keep them fresh for working in today’s workforce.
